Meet Dr. Janel Johnson

Dr. Janel Johnson earned her bachelor's degree in Health Studies from Worcester State College in Worcester, MA. She received a master's degree in Food and Nutrition from Framingham State College in Framingham, MA. She is a dietitian and worked as a clinical dietitian and nutrition education specialist prior to attending dental school. Dr. Johnson received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts University in Boston, MA, where she was the recipient of the American Association of Women Dentists Award. Dr. Johnson received her Certificate in Orthodontics from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, in 1998.
Originally from Auburn, MA, Dr. Johnson lives in Farmington, CT, with her husband. She enjoys traveling, hiking, kayaking, and reading. She is also an avid Boston Red Sox fan.
